This year, Smile Makers was a proud partner to the race La Parisienne in Paris. It is a charity event raising money for research to fight breast cancer.
"La Parisienne, the 7 km women-only race, sees contestants run through the heart of the capital. La Parisienne is a running race that's just for women. Created by Patrick Aknin in 1997, the first edition saw 1,500 women competing in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne" (Paris je T'aime, 2023).
In 2017, almost 30 000 women ran it and 77 000 euros were collected. Smile Makers was there and it was an absolute pleasure to meet all these inspiring women!

A sexologist was here to share insights about the health benefits of sexual well-being, and how sexuality and masturbation can help to reconnect to feminity during and after cancer.
So much good energy just gives us wings to continue to keep on normalizing the perception of female sexuality!
Thumbs up to all runners!
