How to use Come Connected condoms?
Condoms are an effective contraception and the only one that also acts as a barrier method. If used properly, they reduce HIV or STI transmission risk.
- Use a new condom each time and when switching from anal sex to vaginal sex.
- Peel back the lid of the buttercup package carefully. Do not use fingernails, teeth, or anything that can damage the condom.
- Place the condom on the tip of the erect penis (or another phallus such as a dildo or strap-on) with the rolled side out. Be sure to squeeze the end of the condom to ensure no trapped air inside.
- Unroll or pull the condom to the base of the erect penis or phallus. If the condom doesn’t unroll easily, it may be backward, damaged, or too old. Throw it away and start over with a new condom.
- When done, hold the rim of the condom in place. For a penis, withdraw while it is still erect to avoid spilling semen.
How to dispose?
Do not flush the used condom down the toilet - instead, dispose of it in the trash. They are biodegradable! For the outer packaging, the plastic bottom can be recycled while the lid thrown in the trash. The FSC paper box the condoms come in is recyclable.
